U-Visas
A U-Visa is a special type of visa that allows victims of a crime that was committed in the U.S. to stay if they will assist in the investigation and prosecution of the case. Victims must be willing to cooperate with law enforcement officials for the U-Visa to be granted.
Waivers
If you came into the U.S. without authorization, or if you came in without proper documentation, you may be eligible to apply for a waiver if you otherwise have a basis to stay. Generally you must establish that you have U.S. citizen or permanent resident family members that will experience hardship if you are removed to your country of origin.
Appeals
When the Immigration Judge, the USCIS or the Board of Immigration Appeals deny your case in error, or when your case is taking a longer than usual time to be decided, we can file appeals within the agencies or in federal court to compel the agencies to act in your case and to fix the errors of the adjudicator below.
Asylum
We help people who are escaping persecution in their countries of origin to apply for asylum protection in the U.S. If you are a member of a religion, race, nationality, or a particular social group that is targeted for persecution, you may be eligible to apply for asylum.
